The author of the book on the Holodomor is acknowledged as the Person of the Year in Poland

In Poland, the American-British journalist Anne Applebaum received the title “Person of the Year” of the newspaper “Vyborchaya Gazeta”, according to Radio Svoboda.

The title “Person of the Year” is awarded by the newspaper “Vyborchka Gazeta” since 1999. These titles were received in various years by: Vaclav Havel, George Soros, Joschka Fischer, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Andrzej Wajda.
