The Parliament of Luxembourg recognized the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people
The Parliament of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine as genocide of the Ukrainian people. The Chamber of Deputies adopted the relevant resolution on Tuesday, June 13.
“I am grateful to Luxembourg for this historic decision. The world will never come to terms with the crimes of the Kremlin regime – neither past nor present!”, – this is how the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reacted to this.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba welcomed the crucial decision of the Luxembourg deputies. “This step honours the millions of victims and restores historical justice. International recognition of the Holodomor as genocide continues to grow,” he tweeted.
We thank the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg for this historic step!
