The United States and Ukraine will cooperate to spread information about the Holodomor.
The US and Ukraine intend to continue cooperation in spreading the truth about the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine, as well as other crimes committed in and against Ukraine in the past. The updated US-Ukraine Charter on Strategic, signed on November 10 in Washington by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and the Secretary of State of the United States Anthony Blinken, states it.
The text of the Charter was published by the US Embassy in Ukraine.
“The United States and Ukraine intend to continue to work closely together to disseminate historical truth, including raising public awareness of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine and other inhumane crimes committed in and against Ukraine in the past,” the statement said in the third chapter of the Charter: “Democracy and the Rule of Law.”
It should be recalled that 23 American states recognized the Holodomor as an act of genocide.
