Ukrainian Counsil Representatives Joined the Action "Lets Lit a Candle of Memory"
On September 12, 2018, the action “Lets Lit a Candle of Memory” was held at the Consulate General of Ukraine in St. Petersburg and the Consulate of Ukraine in Novosibirsk, and on September 13 at the Consulate of Ukraine in Yekaterinburg, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported.
In St. Petersburg, the participants of the action paid tribute to the victims of one of the greatest crimes in the history of mankind of the twentieth century with a minute of silence and read a prayer for the innocent victims. Representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora living in the Far East of the Russian Federation joined the action at the memorial in Novosibirsk.
In Yekaterinburg in the Temple named after St. Nicholas, the Wizard, a holy ceremony was held for the victims of the Holodomor and candles were lit in memory in the Consulate.
We remind that on September 12, the action was attended by employees of the Embassy of Ukraine in Moscow.
On September 11, the marathon “Lets lit a candle of memory” campaign was accepted by Uzbekistan.
On September 10 the action was held in Kazakhstan.
On September 9 the action was held in Azerbaijan.
On September 8 the action was held in Australia, Belarus and Senegal.
On September 7 action “Lets Lit a Candle of Memory!” was held in Armenia and Mozambique.
Also, the action was joined in Beijing.
The Ukrainian community in Jordan honored victims of the Holodomor-Genocide.
On September 2, 2018, the International action “Lets Lit A Candle of Light” was held in Turkey.
On September 1, the action “Lets Lit A Candle of Light” began at the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial”
