The museum was visited by the heads of the German Goethe-Institut
Today, April 3, the General Secretary of the Goethe-Institut, Johannes Ebert, and the director of the Goethe-Institut in Ukraine, Fabian Multhaler, visited the Holodomor Museum. Acting Director General of the Holodomor Museum Lesia Hasydzhak and Head of the Exposition and Exhibition Department Yana Hrynko met the guests.
The guests began their visit to our museum by commemorating the Ukrainians killed by famine and lit candles at the Altar of Memory. Later, Lesia Hasydzhak spoke about the activities of the museum and how the large-scale war affected its work. In particular, the head of the institution stated that interest in the museum and the Holodomor topic in general only increased after the Russian aggression. A tour of the Hall of Memory for German friends was conducted by Yana Hrynko, the curator of the “INTENT” exhibition. The guests were also interested in the progress of the construction of the second phase of the museum.
