Sergey Kravtsov is the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, a Russian statesman and politician, and a member of the General Council of the United Russia party.
He promotes narratives needed by the Kremlin about fictional neo-Nazism in Ukraine and fully supports the full-scale war unleashed by Russia against the Ukrainian state.
In March 2022, he stated that Ukraine allegedly described preparations for war with Russia even in textbooks for schoolchildren, distorted the historical truth and turned students and teachers against the Russian Federation.
He declared the alleged existence of Nazism in Ukraine and the inculcation of nationalist ideas in Ukrainian children in schools. He accused the authorities of Ukraine of implementing an anti-Russian education system in schools.

Kravtsov wants to introduce a new course, “My History,” for high school students in the territories of Ukraine seized by Russia. During the lessons, they plan to tell children the “Russian version of history”.
He stated this in a report on a new educational course for high school students, which he presented to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
