Roman Babayan is a Russian TV presenter, politician, editor-in-chief of the Govorit Moskva (Moscow Speaks) radio station, and deputy of the Moscow City Duma of the 7th convocation. He worked as a war correspondent in many hot spots, spreading disinformation narratives of the Kremlin.
He called Ukrainians “adjusters without ideology and history,” and denied Ukrainian statehood.
In 2020, he offered to “finish Ukraine” with the help of tougher economic and political pressure and increased propaganda.
After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he called Ukrainians Nazis and accused them of intending to “kill Russian children.” He accused the West of supporting Ukraine.

1. He denied the existence of the Ukrainian language, culture and history of Ukraine (February 6, 2020)
