Yuriy Kot, propagandist, actor, TV presenter
Yuriy Kot is a pro-Russian showman of Ukrainian origin, actor, TV presenter, film director, and screenwriter. A collaborator from the Russian Federation and a supporter of the so-called “DPR” and “LPR”.
In the winter of 2013-2014, he hosted Kyiv Antimaidan. In 2014, he moved to Russia, where he still lives. He participates in propagandistic Russian talk shows, where he represents himself as a “Ukrainian political scientist.”
He was happy about creating the so-called “DPR” and “LPR”. Joyfully shouted “Hurray! For Novorossiya” when in early November 2014, separatists erected the flag of the so-called “Novorossiya” in Kramatorsk.
On the eve of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he called Ukrainians “morons” and “sheep”. He supported Putin’s words that allegedly “Ukrainians and Russians are one people.” He called on the citizens of Ukraine not to listen to their president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He stated that allegedly “God is with the Russian army,” therefore, the invaders “must win”.
