Attention! CONTEST!
The National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” announces the Contest of Children’s Art “THE MEMORY OF THE FUTURE,” devoted to the 86th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-33 in Ukraine. The project was launched to commemorate the Holodomor victims. Its mission is to spread the knowledge about the tragic pages of our history, to prevent the repetition of the crime of genocide, to promote self-identification, to protect human rights, to combat discrimination and human rights violation.
Competition topics:
- “The Holodomor. The Pages of History”
- “The Memory of the Country Is a Memory of the Family”
- “The Heritage Is a Spirit and Power”
- “Human Rights Are The Rights of the Nation”
- Free topic that meets the idea of the project.
Any person from 6 to 17 (full) years can become a participant of the Contest.
The competition will be held in the nominations for three age categories: from 6 to 9, from 10 to 13, from 14 to 17 years.
Prize fund of the contest is UAH 10 000.
Techniques and genres of works are drawing, painting, graphics, pictorial, poster, application, collage, story-board), computer graphics and any other technique of a two-dimensional image.
To participate in the Competition, it is necessary to submit an electronic application by July 01, 2019, by filling out the Registration Form or by sending a message to the e-mail [email protected] in accordance with the conditions specified in the Contest Regulations.
Date of the opening of the exhibition and the awarding of the winners is November 5, 2019 at the address: Kyiv, 3 Lavrska Str, National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial.”
