The Holodomor Museum was Attended by Canadian and Polish Museum Designers
On April 16, 2019, the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” was visited by the Head of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation Bogdan Onyshchuk and representatives of Nizio Design International Ltd. (Warsaw, Poland), Forge Media + Design (Canada) and Haley Sharpe Design (Canada), who are on a working visit to Ukraine and take part in a meeting of an international team working on the project of the Holodomor Museum in the framework of the construction of the second part of the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial.”
Guests, accompanied by First Deputy Director General of the Museum Iryna Batyrieva and deputy chairman of the Governmental Organizing Committee for Preparing of the Second Part of the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial ” Ivan Vasiunyk, listened to the tour and commemorated the victims of the Holodomor by lighting the candles on the Altar of Memory in the Hall of Memory. Finally, they visited the construction site of the second part of the National Museum ” Holodomor Victims Memorial.”
