The Plan of Events at the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” on the Holodomor Victims Remembrance Day – 2017
On November 25, 2017, on Saturday, Ukraine and the whole democratic world will commemorate the 7 million victims of the Holodomor, the genocide of the Ukrainian nation committed by the communist Soviet government in 1932-1933. On the territory of the Holodomor Victims Memorial (Kiev, Lavrska Street 3) there will be sorrowful events involving the state officials, representatives of all religious minorities, the public, the media and guests of the capital. The official events will begin at 14.00, at 16:00 a nationwide moment and the action “Light a candle” will be announced.
