1932–1933. Ukraine. The Soviet Union commits a large crime of genocide against Ukrainians. More than 7 million victims. Abandoned villages and the collective psychological trauma of survivors. Years of silence and lies.
Today, Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state, and we, its people, are choosing the path our country will follow in the future. But only by knowing history, researching and analyzing it, can we resist hate, uphold human rights and prevent any intolerance.
The National Holodomor-Genocide Museum is a center for honoring the Holodomor victims and the only national museum of the history of genocide of Ukrainians. It has prepared educational, exhibition and scientific projects for the 86th anniversary of this crime.
