Design competition of candlesticks dedicated to the Holodomor topic

Before the Holodomor in the 1990s, the Foundation for the History of Totalitarianism announced a design competition for candlesticks that would represent the theme of the Holodomor.

To participate in the competition, you need to develop a project of a candlestick with the inscription “Holodomor”.

The organizers define the following requirements for the candlestick:

-Fireproof;

-Cheap to manufacture;

– Mourning;

-It has an original design.

Prizes in the overall competition are £400 for first place and £50 for second and third place.

Schoolchildren are eligible for separate prizes: £300 for first place and £30 each for second and third one. If the overall winner is a school student or entrant under the age of 18, they will receive a prize of £400.

Works must be submitted by 12.00 on October 30, 2023.
