The collection of materials of a scientific conference "Holodomor 1932 1933: losses of Ukrainian nation" was released

Recently we received from a printing house the collection of materials of the International scientific-practical conference “Holodomor 1932-1933: losses of Ukrainian nation” which was held by the National Museum “Holodomor victims’ memorial” on October 4, 2016 at the base of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, supported by the Foundation of Ukrainian Famine-Genocide (Chicago, USA) and the Public Committee for honoring the memory of victims of Holodomor-Genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine.

The collection includes scientific works about mechanisms of creation of Holodomor and the consequences of crime (researches of V. Serhiychuk, V. Vasylenko, Marochko, Y. Kalakura, D. Gryn, N. Meheda, P. Chernega, M. Antonovych). The central question of the collection is an estimation of demographic losses of Ukrainian nation from Holodomor (articles of A. Kozytskyj, V. Petrenko, O. Kurinnyj, S.Vakulyshyn, Y. Bryazhunov, V. Udovychenko). The cultural, social, mental, moral and psychological consequences of Holodomor in Ukraine are considered (by N. Lapchynska, F. Turchenko, I. Shugalyova, A. Stasiuk, Y. Koczur, G. Serhiychuk, G. Papakin, A. Zinchenko).

The publication is intended for historians, ethnographers, anthropologists, local historians, teachers and anyone who are interested in the topic of Holodomor 1932-1933.

Currently, the collection of materials is sent to the libraries of higher educational establishments and regional scientific universal libraries of all regional centers of Ukraine.
