Artemy Lebedev is the art director and owner of “Artemy Lebedev Studio”, the founder of the Internet advertising agency “Reklama.ru”, and has gained a reputation as the most famous web designer in Russia.
Lebedev actively supports Putin and the war he unleashed against Ukraine. He has repeatedly travelled to Crimea, occupied by Russia, and the territories of Donbas, not under the control of the Ukrainian authorities.
After Russia’s capture of Ukrainian Crimea, he supported such actions of the Russian Federation and declared that an “ideal management operation” had been carried out.
He claimed that “there are no Ukrainians” and that “Ukraine is a region of Russia.”

1. He accused the Ukrainian military of torturing Russian prisoners of war (March 31, 2022)
Lebedev said that “the West turns a blind eye to the abuse of captured Russian servicemen.”
2. He accused Ukraine of staging various events in Bucha (April 7, 2022)
Lebedev stated that the Russian military was not guilty of the murders in Bucha, and the civilians were allegedly killed by SBU officers for communicating with the Russian army during the occupation of the town. He accused the West of covering the situation in Bucha one-sidedly and apparently “silencing other versions.”
