Dmitry Steshin, Russian propagandist, journalist
Dmitry Steshin is a Russian propagandist, journalist and editor. He works as a correspondent of “Komsomolska Pravda” as a special corps of the political department, covering military conflicts.
Back in 2014, he stated that allegedly “there is nothing to talk about with the current Ukrainians.” He called the Ukrainian citizens’ aggression towards the Russians unmotivated and said that the answer to it could only be a “punch in the face”.
At the end of May 2022, he called on Russia to fight “to the last conscious Ukrainian.” He stated that Ukrainians should “remain in collapsed dugouts, under slabs of roofs and in premature field graves.”
He called all Ukrainian-speakers “degenerates” and “rascals-traitors,” and accused them of a “fratricidal war,” which they allegedly unleashed in favour of third countries.

2. The reason for the Russians’ failure at the front was called “overshadowing of the successes” that were at the beginning of the full-scale war (October 4, 2022)
Steshin said that the war would only be good for Russia because it filtered “foreign” people in the country from “its own” and showed weak points in the Russian army that need to be paid attention to.
