The deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, said that during the war against Ukraine, Russia allegedly “protects its citizens and returns originally Russian lands.” He threatened that the Russian Federation would continue this “return of territories.”

According to him, Russia is supposedly shaping the future world order and “fighting alone with NATO and the Western world.” Medvedev said that it seems that the Russian Federation is trying to preserve the lives of Russian military personnel and civilians as much as possible, while he accuses Kyiv of neglecting losses among Ukrainian military personnel and civilians.
