Vladimir Solovyov is a Russian propagandist, TV presenter, and publicist who is a mouthpiece for the Kremlin. He is a member of the United Russia political party, known for his anti-Ukrainian statements and constant dissemination of propaganda. The propagandist works for the Rossiya 1 TV channel.

Solovyov repeatedly called for a violent change in the constitutional order in Ukraine and encroached on the territorial integrity of the state. Through his rhetoric, spread on Russian television and social networks, he incited hatred towards Ukraine and Ukrainians and in every way supported the launch of an aggressive war against our state.

In August 2022, Solovyov called on the Russian army to destroy Kharkiv, Odesa, and Mykolaiv. He noted that civilians should be given three days to leave these cities, and then they should be “demolished quarter by quarter.”

In mid-October 2022, he called for the Russian army to “push the border” by 200 kilometres so that the Russian city of Belgorod would supposedly be “safe.” At the same time, he called for the destruction of the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv and Lviv, stating that he was only concerned about the fate of Russian cities, to which he currently also includes settlements in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Solovyov also repeatedly called for strikes on various European cities for providing weapons to Ukraine to protect it from the aggressor country, Russia.

Solovyov stated on Russian television that “negotiating with Nazis is necessary when your boot is on their throat.”

He said that “there are no longer enough Ukrainians for war,” and that is why NATO was supposedly entering the war. He began threatening the Alliance that the Russian Federation would “grind” their war machine and soldiers and carry out the “denazification” of member states.

8. He said that Lviv and Kharkiv should be destroyed in response to the explosions in Belgorod (October 14, 2022)

A propagandist called on the Russian Federation to “push” the border another 200 kilometres into Ukraine so that Ukraine would not fire on Belgorod. In response to the explosions in this Russian city, he proposed to destroy Lviv and Kharkiv.
