At a meeting with mothers of Russian military personnel, Putin spoke about the “feats” of the occupiers
During a meeting with the occupiers’ mothers, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin allegedly told one of them that her son “did not die in vain” and that “his goal has been achieved.” The invader’s mother said that her son allegedly jumped out of the foxhole during the battle and drew fire from the Ukrainian military, and his last words were: “let’s go, brothers, chop ukrops.”
Putin responded to this with reflections on the topic “we will all die someday” and reminded how many Russians die in road accidents and from alcoholism. And here, they say, a Russian soldier “gave his life not in vain.”
Videos from the meeting appeared on Telegram on 25 November 2022.
It is worth noting that later, journalists found evidence that this meeting was staged. The women presented as the occupiers’ mothers turned out to be actually officials and pro-Kremlin activists.
