▪️Date / time: May 14, 2021, at 4:00 p.m.
▪️Lesson: In Search of Law
👤For whom: teenagers 10–14 years old / family visit
▪️About the online event: What are our inalienable rights?
Where and how do we implement them now?
Where to look for an answer when your right is violated and you are discriminated against?
We will find the answers to these and other questions during the lesson.
The purpose of the lesson is to understand modern human rights enshrined in international and national law, to develop empathy and a negative attitude to the facts of discrimination, violation of freedoms and encroachment on life. You will also learn about human rights violations in the USSR, in particular about the crime of genocide of the Ukrainian people—the Holodomor of 1932–1933.

🏛The event is free with prior registration.

🗣The theme of International Museum Day 2021 is “The Future of Museums: Restoration and Rethinking”. During lockdowns and quarantines, we rethought the work and role of museums and learned to communicate differently with our visitors.
And while nothing can replace the visitor’s experience at the museum, we can learn more through digital technology by attending lectures and workshops and communicating with museum workers online.

View all educational events on our Facebook page.

You can also visit the Holodomor Museum free of charge on International Museum Day.
We work from 10:00 to 18:00 at the address: 3 Lavrska Street, Kyiv. To book an excursion, educational lesson for schoolchildren or students, to learn about the audio guide in 33 languages, go to the link:
