Italian artist Sabatino Scia will gift his picture about the Holodomor to the Ukrainian Museum

World-renowned writer and artist from Naples Sabatino Sсia will introduce his pictures of the series «Genocide of Ukrainians» for the first time. The paintings of Sabatino Sсia illustrated the story of the crime of the Stalinist regime against Ukrainians. The artist will give his pictures as a gift to the National Museum «Holodomor Victims Memorial».

«For the first time in years of independence of our state, a foreigner who does not have Ukrainian roots and has never been in Ukraine, will give such a valuable gift as the works of art to the Ukrainian museum», says Olesia Stasiuk, Director General of the Holodomor Victims Memorial.

The presentation of five paintings by Sabatino Shia will take place on September 18 at the National Museum «Holodomor Victims Memorial». The paintings will be exhibited in the Museum’s Hall for two months.
