The Museum Talk project jointly with Odesa colleagues has ended

1 November 2023

Our joint project with the Odesa National Art Museum Museum Talk has ended.

As part of this cooperation, during September-October, scholars of the Holodomor Museum gave a series of lectures in Odesa, during which they talked about the Holodomor genocide and its parallels with modern events, the mass man-made famine of 1921-1923, the course of the Holodomor in the Kuban, the terminology of the crime and about everyday and future perspectives of our museum. Dozens of Odesa residents attended the lectures. The Holodomor topic aroused the interest of people of all ages.

Overall, it was a useful and interesting experience. We thank our partners — the Odesa National Art Museum for their cooperation, as well as the great photos. We thank visitors for their interest in the topic and acute questions. We thank our scientists Dmytro Bilyi, Andrii Ivanets, Ivan Petrenko, Dmytro Baikenich and Acting Director General Lesia Hasydzhak for their interesting stories.

We hope for the following useful and interesting joint projects!
