VIII International Congress of Belarus Researchers

On September 27–29, 2019 in Vilnius (Lithuania), the VIII International Congress of Belarus Researchers, brought together more than 500 scholars and experts from different countries. Congress is a platform for establishing new professional relations, presenting and discussing projects, sharing ideas and experiences.

Within the Historical and Cultural Heritage Section (Oral History and Its Use in Museum Work Panel), Iryna Batyrieva, First Deputy Director General of the Holodomor Genocide, in her report spoke about the Holodomor Museum exposition, shared her experience in developing educational programs, as well as the importance of using sources of oral history, e.g. the memories of the Holodomor survivors.
