On November 12, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia joined the International Action “Let’s Light a Candle of Memory!”, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports.
In his speech, Ambassador V. A. Pakhil drew attention to the sad consequences caused by Holodomor of 1932-1933 as one of the most terrible tragedies of our time, and also emphasized the need to preserve the memory of this terrible tragedy in order to prevent a repetition of such a future.
During the action, the memory of 85 Ukrainian children who died as a result of Holodomor was honored.
On September 1, the action “Let’s Light a Candle of Memory!” started at the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial”.
