Denys Pushylin is the so-called “head” of the pseudo-republic “DPR”. He supports policies that undermine the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. He participated in the creation of political and public instability in the Donetsk region and the occupation of the regional administration in Donetsk in 2014.
Pushylin promotes the policies of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the region.
On the eve of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he appealed to Putin to “provide assistance in repelling the military aggression of the Ukrainian regime.”
He called the full-scale hostilities in Ukraine a “war of liberation for Donbas.” He threatened that the so-called “DPR” was preparing a “tribunal” for Ukrainian prisoners of war.
