Oleg Gazmanov, Russian singer

                         Oleg Gazmanov

Over the past eight years, Russian singer Oleg Gazmanov has repeatedly performed in the occupied territories of Donbas. When Russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine, the singer also immediately supported such a crime of Putin’s regime.

In his social networks, Gazmanov stated that since “the approach time of missiles from Poland, Hungary and other NATO countries is minutes”, Russia allegedly decided “not to wait for a strike, but to strike first.” He calls the unleashing of the war “an extreme case” but still justifies it. At the same time, Gazmanov quite seriously believes Russia “took responsibility and prevented a major war in the world with a small battle.”

Gazmanov speaks really unkindly about his colleagues who did not support the war against Ukraine – he says that now, with many of them, he “will not even shake their hands” with many.

Gazmanov was a participant in the “A World Without Nazism” concert, which the Russian authorities held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, timing it to the day of the occupation of the Ukrainian Crimea.

The war supporter repeatedly spoke in hospitals in front of the wounded Russian occupiers. During such meetings, he expressed his support for them and urged them to “return to the ranks as soon as possible.” He also spoke for the families of soldiers who invaded Ukraine and committed bloody crimes on our territory.
