Russian singer Slava (real name – Anastasia Volodymyrivna Slanevska) supported the criminal Russian invasion of Ukraine.

After a full-scale war had started, the singer recorded and posted a video on social networks declaring that she loved the aggressor country Russia and was not going to leave anywhere. She said that she supposedly also loved Ukrainians, that she had many friends in Ukraine and that her father was from Odesa. But immediately after that, she began to accuse Ukrainians and called President Volodymyr Zelenskyy an obscene word.

In the video, the singer said that it was necessary to “stop and not incite hatred” and that Ukrainians and Russians were allegedly “brothers”. However, Slava did not specify who exactly she was calling to “stop”.

At the end of March, the singer recorded a video criticising Russian stars who went on vacation amid Russia’s war against Ukraine. She said that “in such a difficult time” it was necessary to work and support Russians. She also said that allegedly Russians would not listen to the songs of such artists who did not support the war or maintain neutrality.
