“MARIA”. Lesia Marushchak

From November 20, 2020 to March 31, 2021, the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide will host the exhibition “Maria” by Canadian artist of Ukrainian origin Lesia Marushchak.

“Maria” has been exhibited in more than 9 countries around the world and is a winner of numerous international awards.

In September 2020, The Guardian published photos from the project “Maria” in the selection of the best photos of the Landskrona festival. The book “Maria”, created on the basis of this exhibition project, in 2019 was recognized as the most beautiful book of the year and won the award “Best Book Design” at the international festival “Book Arsenal” in Kiev.

The exhibition is supported by the Ukrainian World Congress.

The exhibition is accompanied by a specially designed “Guide”, where you can read the names of the works presented, explanations, information about the exhibition and the author. You will find the online guide below in the file.
