▪️For the International Children’s Day, the educational team of the Holodomor Museum is conducting an educational training “In Search of Law” for teenagers aged 11–14.

▪️What are our inalienable rights?
▪️Where and how do we implement them now?
▪️What to do when your rights are violated and you are discriminated against?

👤We invite parents with children aged 11–14 to the Holodomor Museum for a free educational event.
▪️Date and time: June 1, 2021, at 16:00
Duration: 1 hour
🏛Place: Holodomor Museum, 3 Lavrska Street, Kyiv (10 minutes from the Arsenalna metro station).

The educational lesson helps to understand modern human rights enshrined in international and national law, to develop empathy and a negative attitude to the facts of discrimination, violation of freedoms and encroachment on life. You will also learn about human rights violations in the USSR, in particular about the crime of genocide of the Ukrainian people – the Holodomor of 1932–1933.

With the help of bright animated and illustrative materials, teenagers will learn:

– what documents guarantee them;
– where and how these rights can and should be exercised;
– how to react when someone;s rights are violated, as was it was happening during the Holodomor genocide.
