Online | Seminar for tour guides from the Holodomor Museum

The Holodomor Museum invites guides, tour guides and local historians of Kyiv and all of Ukraine to an open online seminar on the genocide of Ukrainians  of 1932–1933.

• How to tell foreigners about the Holodomor, what words to choose and why this topic is relevant?
• How to  make the story of the genocide interesting for Ukrainmian tourists?
• How to work with different age groups when discussing traumatic history?

At the seminar, museum workers will show some artistic elements of the museum’s exposition, get acquainted with a video tour and tell about the history of the Holodomor. The staff will also advise you on how best to talk about the Holodomor and answer your questions.

🏛The Holodomor Museum is the only museum in the world that tells about the genocide of Ukrainians. It teaches to resist hatred and human rights violations, warns society against the crime of genocide by accumulating and disseminating knowledge about the Holodomor.
