The majority of the residents of Kyiv use the subway as a “fast, convenient and reliable” type of public transport. Morning and evening, sometimes in the afternoon, someone goes a few stops, and someone –about an hour. The Kyiv metro is often called “the most readering” because someone reads from smartphones, someone reads classically, paper books, someone reads serious things, and someone prefers easy reading.

That is why the idea of the scientific and educational project of the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” is to tell the passengers about unique subjects and phenomena of culture and science, social development and everyday life, about Ukrainians who changed history and at the beginning of the 20th century defined a nation ready for a sovereign life, about everything that constitutes our identity, and everything that was destroyed, liquidated or forbidden after Ukraine was occupied by the Bolsheviks. In 1932-1933, they committed one of the greatest crimes in the history of the mankind – the Holodomor-genocide, the object of which was the Ukrainian nation.

The project “The Train of Ukrainian Identity” is a series of 22 posters placed in 6 wagons of one of the train on a blue metro line.
