National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide Signed a Memorandum with Holodomor Resistence Museum in Dnipro

25 June 2020

From now on, the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide will cooperate with the Holodomor Resistance Museum in Dnipro.

The National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide will provide information on the causes and consequences of the Holodomor, archival materials for the creation of an exposition of the Museum of Holodomor Resistance.

Experts of the Holodomor Museum will also advise the creators of the new museum, help with the search for experts, witnesses, local historians, selection of photographs and documents for the development of exhibition, informational and educational activities.

The return of the historical memory of the Holodomor-genocide of the Ukrainian people continues, and in this way only together can a high goal be achieved. We have a lot of joint projects ahead of us.

The Holodomor Museum is the only museum in the world dedicated to the genocide of Ukrainians. We teach to resist hatred and human rights violations; we warn society against the the crime of genocide by accumulating and disseminating knowledge about the Holodomor.

We recall that a separate thematic Museum of Holodomor Resistance was recently established in Dnipro. Previously, the museum plans to create three exhibits: the first is dedicated to the historical events that preceded the Holodomor, the second — directly to the genocide in Ukraine and the Dnipropetrovsk region, the third — the life of Ukrainians after these events. Employees and scientists of the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide and the Holodomor Research Institute will assist in their creation to the museum in Dnipro.
