"Art" in the service of the regime
Russia has long been guided by the rule “all means are good in war.” And in the information war – and even more so. That is why the Kremlin uses the sphere of creativity to impose propaganda. Films, songs, poetry, posters, and murals, which contain the content necessary for the regime, appear in the Russian Federation like mushrooms after rain. Because the arts sector has a large audience, its exploitation helps the authorities shape public opinion.
